I'M IN A BAND/I'M A DJ - HOW DO I GET A GIG AT PASSING CLOUDS?
The vast majority of our events are hosted by outside promoters so, although you are welcome to send us your links, we rarely book bands or DJs that we don't already have connections with. Below is a list of some of our regular promoters that are always looking for fresh talent. We also recommend keeping an eye on what events we run, who runs them, and coming down to chat to the organisers. Personal connections are the name of the game! Please also consider that we are a world music venue and do not host rock/indie/electronic bands.

CAN I HIRE PASSING CLOUDS?
Yes and no. We don't offer dry hire of the whole venue for people looking to host an event. We offer the upstairs room for large birthday parties and other celebrations at the weekend, and can also offer daytime hire for photo/film shoots etc. Email [email protected] for information.
HOW DO I HOST AN EVENT AS A PROMOTER?
We currently have a full roster of promoters, however we do ocassionally have available dates so send us an email with a detailed proposal.
HOW DO I VOLUNTEER AT THE PEOPLE'S KITCHEN?
Just come down! The People's Kitchen are always looking for helping hands so just pop over from 3pm on a Sunday and start chopping!
