We have an awesome community of world-class promoters who are always looking for fresh talent and, although you're welcome to contact us directly too, this lot are your first port of call. We also recommend keeping an eye on what events we run, who runs them, and coming down to chat to the organisers. Personal connections are the name of the game! Please also note that we are a world music venue and do not host rock/indie/electronic bands.

If you're interested in bar work, please send your CV to [email protected] and we'll keep you in mind for any future openings. As a small organisation with limited resources, we rarely have office vacancies opening up but when we do, we will advertise them on our social media sites and in our newsletter, so keep an eye out. And the GET INVOLVED approach applies as above!

do you have any Age Restrictions?

We are an over 18 venue, so please bring ID if you are lucky enough to appear super youthful! Some of our community events are open to under 18s, please email us for more information.

CAN I HIRE PASSING CLOUDS?

Yes and no. We don't offer dry hire of the whole venue for people looking to host an event. We offer the upstairs room for large birthday parties and other celebrations at the weekend, and can also offer daytime hire for photo/film shoots etc. Email [email protected] for information.

HOW DO I HOST AN EVENT AS A PROMOTER?

We currently have a full roster of promoters, however we do ocassionally have available dates for strong promoters who share our music policy and ethical ethos. Please also note that our reputation has been built on showcasing top-quality, world-class live music, and we do not host DJ/club nights. Send us an email with a detailed proposal including information about the event, bands/DJs etc, plus links to your previous work. We will usually start a new promoter out with a Thursday night and go from there. 

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY/WEDDING/ DIVORCE/WEDNESDAY -CAN I RESERVE A SPACE FOR ME AND MY FRIENDS?

YES YES YES and more YES! We relish any opportunity to make a fuss over members of our community and we'd love to help you celebrate. Email our Birthday Organiser Extraordinaire [email protected] with the date, number of people, what you'd like to happen and we'll make all your dreams come true!

Nope, sorry - if you want to get on a guest list you're going to have to sleep with a band member like the rest of us :P  We don’t have a public guest list nor do we sell advance tickets on most nights (exceptions being NYE, Halloween etc) It’s old-skool first-come-first-served around here so if you don’t want to queue or risk not getting in, get your tushies down Richmond Road before 11pm - we’re pretty much always one-in-one-out by midnight on the weekends, often earlier. 

HELP, I LOST MY BLACK CARDIGAN!!

Oh nooooo! If you think you've lost something at the Clouds (because you were just having such a banging time), drop us an email with a description to [email protected] and we'll try and reunite you with your precious things. Please note that, due to highly limited storage space, we can only hold onto lost property for a maximum of 3 weeks.

Unfortunately this is an old building and disabled access is limited. Please call us during office hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm) if you require further information. Bear in mind that we are usually unable to answer the phones at night and on weekends when events are in progress! 020 7241 4889
